Hi! 大家好哇！看完句子后记得思考：句子中包含了几个从句？分别是补充说明或者修饰限定什么的？请看：

1. 单词和词组

engage in sth (使)从事，参加

reciprocal adj. 互惠的，相应的

*reciprocity n. 互惠；互助

refer to … as … v. 把…称为…；把…当作…

2. 拆分句子

①标点符号：, . ! : — 等

②连接词：and, but, or, that, which……

a. 标点符号拆分：

“ " " ”后是“says Quinn”，说明其前面的内容都是其宾语成分，可以拆分。

第一个“,”后面是“including what…”，是个同位语（到最后），用来解释说明“multiple forms of reciprocal help and cooperation”。

“-”前后都是完整的句子，可以拆分。

同位语“including what…”中，引导词“what”在动词“including”后，故此处是宾语从句，可以拆分。

“-”后引导词“where”引导的从句修饰“direct reciprocity”，是非限制性定语从句，可以拆分。

在非限制性定语从句中，“another rat that has…”中的引导词“that”引导的从句中缺少主语，故此处是定语从句，修饰“another rat”，可以拆分。

主句：

"Quinn says …"

宾语从句：

"Rats have been shown to engage in … "

同位语：

"including … "

宾语从句：

"what is referred to as direct reciprocity"

非限制性定语从句：

"where a rat will help another rat"

定语从句：

"that has previously helped them"

Quinn说：“老鼠已经展现出参与多种形式的相互帮助与合作，包括所谓的’直接互惠’——即老鼠将帮助另一只曾经帮助过自己的老鼠。”
